After camping at 8200’ in the Big Horns, the generator sputtered some. We had it in our compartment in the front of the camper, outside. It is vented and did well until the wind direction changed. The carbon monoxide detector went off very early in the morning alerting us to the problem. From then on Shae put it as far as possible from the camper when we ran it. I was very disappointed. I don’t understand why the cabinet made for generators doesn’t work like it should. We keep two fire detectors in the camper as well as a carbon monoxide detector. I want to keep our family safe. I think part of the reason the gas came in the camper was because of a change in the direction of the wind. It seems like there would be a safety feature for if that happens. Now, we just take the thing out of the compartment and use it.
