We have always home schooled our children. We do it for many reasons. At first it was because we were in the military and wanted some consistency in their lives. We moved a lot, so didn’t want to have them change schools. But, Shae got out of the Navy before Cody started school, so we wouldn’t be moving as much. By then we knew that we wanted to home school no matter what. I felt the responsibility to school our children. Public schools seemed to be going down hill. We believe differently on numerous subjects than what is taught in school. The textbooks seem to be getting worse. Some publishers are changing history to suit their beliefs instead of stating facts. Now, not all publishers are doing that, in fact, there are some amazing texts out there that us and our children can read and learn so many amazing facts.
