LAKE OF THE OZARKS

Cody made a bottle launcher

that we shot off at the campground

we were staying at. After about ten

minutes we had a whole crowd

watching us and trying out the launcher!

August 14-17, 2008

Lake of the Ozarks State Park, the

campground we stayed at, has programs

that you can go to. This one was about

butterflies and moths.

This was the best part of the camp for the kids!

They absolutely loved it!

There are tons of really neat things

to do at the Orion Science Center!

This was a scale that you stand on

that calculates how much you would

weigh on different planets! This is

how much I (Hanna) would

weigh on the sun!

This is us eating at Culver's in Camdenton.

The town reminded us all of a beach town

kind of place! There were lots of neat shops,

and a huge outlet mall!

There are caves all along the edge of the

lake! We rode over to them in our kayaks

and looked inside a bit!

There are trails to go on at

Ha Ha Tonka state park, and

so many different things to look

at! It was a beautiful August day

when we went there, and we had

a lovely time!
